From January 6th-11th, NYC’s Brooklyn Mirage, Pollen Presents, and The Cityfox Experience land at Playa Del Carmen, Mexico for a new event concept called Departure.
Across five days and nights, attendees can explore three custom-built stages including the premiere of an all-new beachside Mirage main stage. The stages, created by The Cityfox Experience, will be dismantled after Departure.
Within the framework of the event, guests also have the chance to attend various activities like boat and after parties, morning yoga, and more. Hotel rooms by various partners are included in the general ticket price but it’s also possible to book without a hotel.
Phase one of the lineup is already announced. With over 70 techno and house acts on the final billing, the first wave of artists promises five anticipated party nights. Highlights include Amelie Lens, Damian Lazarus, and Seth Troxler, among others.
The event is a collaboration between Pollen Presents, The Brooklyn Mirage, and The Cityfox Experience. The Brooklyn Mirage is an outdoor venue located in the Avant Gardner complex in NYC. The location is known for its immersive productions in conjunction with The Cityfox Experience.
The latter is a production company with an eye for extensive light, visual, and new media art. Apart from their work with Brooklyn Mirage, they organize their own events and festivals. Music-wise, their focus is on house and techno.
Pollen Presents is an online shop selling experiences all over the world. Including festivals, their offering includes so-called beach, city, and ski breaks. What sets Pollen apart is the trips that can be purchased exclusively on their website.
