On the heels of U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson‘s reopening timeline, London’s Fabric has announced an ambitious first event back. The best-case scenario will see nightlife resume on June 21st with a 42-hour reopening party taking place at the nightclub from the 25th-27th.

Doors will open at 10:00 PM on Friday, June 25th for an event that will end at 10:000 AM the next morning. The festivities will be back on again at 10:00 PM, wrapping up Sunday, June 27th at 4:00 AM. No lineup details have been shared at the time of writing.

“As the world unlocks from the COVID-19 restrictions we are looking forward to welcoming artists and clubbers back at [London district] EC1,” reads a statement from Fabric. “On June 25th we open our doors starting with a 42-hour weekend-long celebration of U.K.-based talent and residents, blending house, techno, drum and bass and more.”

The announcement comes just shy of a year after the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a pandemic. Restrictions imposed to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus that causes the disease largely halted live events in the U.K. and beyond. In October, Fabric was awarded £1.5 million from a £500 million Culture Recovery Fund allocated to help ailing arts institutions weather financial hardship from the crisis.

With emergency guidances still changing by the day, the club is moving forward with cautious optimism. The statement continues: “While we are excited to reopen, this will be dependent on our confidence in being able to do it safely under government sanctioned COVID-19 protocols; we’ll only do it if we can be sure that we can have the best experience back home where we belong.”

Fabric has also announced events through July 18th. Enter a queue to purchase tickets to the reopening party and subsequent gatherings here.
