With the cold season approaching, nightlife professionals who pivoted to socially distant outdoor events this spring must adapt once again. The Cause in London appears to be ahead of this curve. The London nightclub have installed a weatherproof area called The Theatre to their pandemic-friendly Costa Del Tottenham experience, and they’ve shared entertainment roster for the months to come as well.
After an October 11th back-to-back by Steve Lawler and Darius Syrossian, Gerd Janson will take to the decks on October 16th and 17th with support by Running Hot and Kiwi. U.K. drum and bass label Engage Audio curate each Thursday’s lineup, with such talent as DMX Krew and Alien Communications taking the stage on October 30th. The full program is available on the Costa Del Tottenham website.
The Cause opened to the public in 2018 in a space once occupied by a car mechanics depot. The 400-capacity venue played host to such DJs as Dom Chung, Box Reid and Thoma Bulwer prior to the COVID-19 crisis, partnering with mental health initiatives such as Mind in Haringey and Help Musicians UK.
Costa Del Tottenham’s management intend to keep the space open seven days a week through the pandemic.
