Developer Momo Müller‘s latest patch editor gives users access to various onboard and hidden parameters for the Roland JX-08 synthesizer. Making its debut in 2022, the JX-08 is a modern compact reproduction of the 1985 model, the JX-8P.
The JX-08 Editor’s GUI shows Parts A and B on one screen for easy and quick access. Along with this, controllers on the JX-08 hardware can have simultaneous programming and automation for more complex sound designs. X/Y control for every parameter is also part of the Jx-08 Editor’s advanced features.
The JX-08’s save feature adds unlimited additional patch recall alongside the 256 initial save spots on the hardware.
The JX-08 Editor costs $7 and contains both Mac and PC versions. The PC version work as VST2 and standalone for 32-bit systems. For 64-bit systems, the Editor also works as a VST3 and standalone.
For Mac Intel and M1 systems, VST2, VST3, AU and standalone versions are part of the download.
