Los Angeles festival Secret Project has announced its return to Europe this summer with a debut edition in Portugal.
From June 17th-June 29th, festivities will take place at Praia da Rocha (Portimaõ Beach). Its pristine beaches and unique limestone rock formations attract tourists from around the world.
Artists representing genres ranging from house to techno to drum and bass and disco are scheduled on the lineup. A new drum and bass stage is making its first appearance alongside house and techno stages. The event is being organized by Insomniac, a large-scale electronic music festival promoter known for organizing the annual EDM festival Electric Daisy Carnival.
Attendees must bring proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test result within 72 hours in order to gain entrance. Ticket prices range from around $230 to $295.
Starting in 2018, Secret Festival quickly established itself as one of downtown Los Angeles’ premiere underground house and techno gatherings. Since then, it has only increased in popularity. This isn’t the first time they’ve expanded beyond Los Angeles; festivities were also held in Miami and Amsterdam. Attendees can also expect to experience numerous art projects from local artists, such as live graffiti, large-scale murals, and glowing installations.
