E1 is moving full speed ahead with a summer relaunch. If all goes to plan, the London nightclub’s COVID-19-imposed lapse in operations will end from June 25th with a roster of underground dance music notables.
DJs like DVS1, Recondite, Ellen Allien, DJ Stingray and Rebekah will headline events at E1. Dance On Arrival, Audiowhore, Metalheadz and Heartless Crew are among the partners curating nights at the club. Little Gay Brother will also host a Pride party on September 11th, the final night of the summer program.
E1 opened its doors to the public in 2017 with a 27-hour gathering. It grew into a prominent fixture of London nightlife for billings catering to fans of techno, house, drum and bass, UK garage and beyond.
After the COVID-19 pandemic unfolded, the club opened an outdoor area called Site 5 in order to comply with emergency guidances. The license was contested, leaving management to seek public support in order to stay open amid the global health crisis.
