Music producer and YouTube personality Andrew Huang has introduced Flip, a digital audio workstation mobile app that provides full production and sampling capabilities.

Flip’s most notable feature is its ability to sample any sound using the iPhone or iPad’s built-in microphone. Users can quickly tap out the sampled rhythm on the pads and edit velocities and pitch on the piano roll. Flip’s built-in effects and editing tools also help shape or transform a sound entirely. Automation recording is available, with independent automation lengths for every lane to create unique polymetric arrangements.

In-app mixing and mastering tools and full song arrangement mode across 16 different patterns are available in Flip. A live performance mode and audio export capability to other music apps round out this already powerful and affordable app.
