A new platform called LATITUDES will host panel discussions on geopolitical issues faced by electronic music communities throughout Latin America. After a debut broadcast on October 4th, they have announced live streams for the 12th, 13th and 14th.

The October 4th discussion saw LATITUDES team up with Taller Salud for a talk streamed from Radialsystem in Berlin on the final day of Radical Sounds Latin America 2020. The discussion on the 12th will pertain to the geopolitical implications of colonization, and the broadcast on the 13th will focus on threats to the electronic music industry from an underground perspective. Finally, the panel on the 14th will address challenges facing publishers in the modern information technology landscape.

Among the speakers announced thus far for the upcoming events are artists KENYAImaabsMatias Aguayo and Verraco. It remains to be seen how regularly the panels will take place after next week’s three-day run.

More information on the panels can be found on the LATITUDES website.
