Earlier in September, Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) announced the first speakers for their 2020 event. What limited-capacity gatherings will be allowed to go on as part of the conference amid the COVID-19 pandemic will include a weekender adaptation of DJ Bone‘s recently launched Further event brand. It will take place at Amsterdam club Radion from October 23rd-25th.
Billed for the event are electronic music stalwarts Ben Sims, DJ Stingray, Dr. Rubinstein, Anastasia Kristensen and Spencer Parker. DJ Bone (real name Eric Dulan) himself will play two back-to-back sets: one alongside Sims, and the other with Deetron under their project together, The Storytellers. The remainder of the lineup has yet to be announced.
Further was among the first events in Europe to offer a socially distant alternative as event organizers around the world struggled to adapt their business models to the unfolding COVID-19 crisis. Dulan, a Detroit transplant, enforced a strict capacity limit of 30 people at the spring debut of the series in addition to requiring attendees to remain seated once inside.
