Grammy Award-winning DJ and producer Roger Sanchez performed a two-hour live stream on Thursday, March 3rd to commemorate the launch of a new NFT project called HouseHeads.

The project consists of 8,008 hand-drawn NFT collectibles designed to celebrate the cultural impact house music has had on the electronic music scene. Each portrait is minted on the Etherium blockchain and grants purchasers perks such as access to metaverse events, exclusive DJ sets, merchandise, and more. Each portrait is unique and draws from a pool a traits (body type, accessories, face, eyes, etc.) to create a one-of-a-kind, randomly generated NFT.

A HouseHeads press release reads, “Each NFT celebrates the cultural movement of house music and its evolution over the years, and your unique HouseHead NFT doubles as your exclusive membership card.” They go on to express excitement about the project and the large community following it has acquired in its short time.
