In 2022, renowned London venue Studio 338 will make its Ibiza debut. The team behind the club will bring an already established event brand called Release to the world-famous White Isle.
Every Friday, Release will host daytime parties in rarely used venues uncovered by the team. Music wise, revelers can expect household names in techno and tech house. According to social media posts, the club will partner up with U.K. affiliates Dance on Arrival, TASTÉ, and Limit amongst others. Studio 338 also promises to keep prices affordable.
“Ibiza has always been our logical next step for many reasons, so during the enforced break we got to work planning something really special and new for the island,” reads a Studio 338 statement. “Release has exploded at home, and it provides the perfect platform for us to bring along all the elements which have made the party and the club so successful. This will include some key brands from the U.K. and our own take on programming and production.”
Initially launched as a Sunday event at Studio 338, Release gatherings have already featured the likes of Marco Carola and Richy Ahmed.
Although considerably Ibiza-inspired, Studio 338 is a Greenwich-based music and arts space with a 3,000-capacity outdoor terrace. Since its opening in 2014, the venue has hosted numerous events billing artists in techno, house, drum & bass, garage, and beyond.
