Famed drum &andbass producer, DJ, and label head Goldie has announced a seven-week residency at London’s XOYO.
Beginning Friday, July 23rd, Goldie (real name Clifford Joseph Price) will take over XOYO with multiple guests from the worlds of drum and bass and techno. First up is fellow drum and bass veteran Fabio, along with Tasha and 2 Bad Mice.
The following six weeks will feature performances from Grooverider, Sicaria Sound, Dillinja, Commix, DJ Flight, Doc Scott, MC GQ, Zero T, and many others. The XOYO residency’s final date will be September 3rd, where Price will emulate the parties hosted by his record label Metalheadz at the now defunct Blue Note venue in London over the years, for the Metalheadz Blue Note Closing Night.
Every week, Price’s residency will host a full takeover of both The Basement and Dark Matter rooms at XOYO, with various styles played by the slew of artists. The gold grill-donning DJ will perform an additional set in Dark Matter on the residency’s opening night alongside Submotive, under the duo’s Subjective moniker.
