Producers Norman Doray and Piem have updated their iconic ’90s garage track “Do Me Right” for 2021. It comes along with a brand-new remix via record imprint Studio 54 Music, the official label of the eponymous New York club.

Doray and Piem’s update breathes new life into the already classic “Do Me Right,” with modern mastering and production techniques. A nod to classic house music from two of its veterans, “Do Me Right” is certainly ready for dance floor domination in 2021.

The Studio 54 Music remix, produced by the label’s in-house engineer Morgan Wiley and A&R Willy Soul, gives “Do Me Right” the old school disco treatment but remains just as fresh for modern listening as it would seem at Studio 54 in its heyday. A slower tempo and swingy drum groove provide the body of the track, while the disco strings and piano chord stabs give the remix its soulful flavor.

“It’s a big pleasure to release ‘Do Me Right,’ an updated version of a NYC classic record, on the legendary imprint like Studio 54 Music,” said Doray and Piem in a statement. “We both grew up listening to stories about the good times at this famous club, and its major impact in the music industry! It is such an honor to join past and present with this new release.”

“Do Me Right” and its remix are out now and can be found on Studio 54 Music Bandcamp.
