Selector’s Sounds series follows a procedure that puts music quality before status or industry relationships. Learn how it works.

Spanish artists BLTRX and Not A Headliner have collaborated on the first-ever release of a brand-new label. Six dynamic techno tracks appear on GOC001, an EP to kick off Global Offensive Corporation. It released in digital and vinyl format April 17th.

The style encapsulated in GOC001 rides a tasteful line between eerie melody and abrasive sound design. The lush atmospheres of “Night Talks,” “Delayed Attack,” and “Study Of Delusions” lean more towards the former, whereas the corrosive textures of “Invisible Truth” fall closer to the latter. “Complicity” closes out the EP on a relatively tranquil note with accessible chords and syncopated percussion.

The Not A Headliner project was launched in 2019 with the release of Maniak Memories Volume 1 via Madrid label UNSOLVED. The name BLTRX has been in circulation for about half of that time; she first collaborated with Italian producer Distorted Anima on Distress Feeling, for which Not A Headliner was one of the remixers.

GOC001 is available for purchase in digital format as well as 12-inch vinyl record white labels via Global Offensive Corporation Bandcamp.
