Pete Zorba Dead at 45 After Long Fight with Brain Cancer

The house music world suffered a tragic loss last week as the British DJ Pete Zorba passed away at age 45.

For years Zorba had been fighting brain cancer and went through numerous surgeries, frequently updating fans on his progress via social media. Despite facing a tough, painful battle he mostly remained positive online and shared words of support with his followers. The final photograph posted to his Instagram after his fourth brain surgery shows that he was still smiling and showing his appreciation to those following his fight.

Over the course of his career, Zorba took the stage at events all over the world and grew an international fanbase. He was a favorite resident at Kaluki, and the brand shared a tribute online where many of his fellow artists shared tributes to the late performer.
