Last year, the Pacha Group shared plans to venture into health and wellness beginning in March with their Casa Pacha Formentera resort concept. The international nightclub brand now has announced that the grand opening of a hotel called Destino Pacha Mykonos is set for June 1st.
The venue, inspired by their Destino Ibiza property, promises a “unique experience that combines entertainment and relaxation in a breathtaking setting.” Guests will be offered fitness and mindfulness activities by day and poolside DJ sets by night in a venue that overlooks the Aegean Sea. The Pacha Group will also open a new location for its Lío bar and restaurant brand at the resort.
Ricardo Urgell, who founded Pacha in 1966, sold the Pacha Group to venture capital group Trilantic Capital Partners for €350 million in 2017. The conglomerate is working to come out of the COVID-19 pandemic strong by renovating the flagship Pacha Nightclub in Ibiza as well as expanding their resort brands into the U.S. and Europe. In December, Pete Tong was appointed to the company’s board of directors to act as a brand guardian during their foray into new markets.
No DJ billings have been announced for events at Destino Pacha Mykonos at the time of writing.
