Omar S is treating fans to two months of both digital and in-person events this fall. From now until mid-December, the Detroit artist will host a variety of activities in a partnership with Red Bull Arts. Dubbed the Conant Gardens Party Store, the event’s schedule includes a live-streamed performance, a drive-in concert and movie, and a roundtable discussion. In addition to the activities, on three Saturdays during his takeover a pop-up store will be hosted with exclusive merchandise for sale.

Those who can’t make it to Detroit for the festivities won’t be left out as he and Red Bull Arts have developed an interactive, online Conant Gardens Party Store. Fans will be able to explore the store, listen to music from the house and techno mainstay, and learn more about his illustrious career and label, FXHE Records.

Also included in the interactive exhibit is information on his upcoming 8-bit video game, Record Packer. It’s set to release in December as a browser and mobile game, and Omar S has stated that players will get to experience what it’s like to be a label owner in the present day.

“The game chronicles the trials and tribulations of a successful vinyl record label as an 8-bit Omar S works to box and ship vinyl as efficiently as he can – a gameplay experience that may feel very relatable to musicians and label owners in 2020,” reads the game’s description.

Omar S’ Conant Gardens Party Store event runs through December 20th. The first pop-up shop took place on October 31st while the remaining two are scheduled for November 14th and December 19th from 3-6:00 PM.
