A three- track minimal house EP by Alex FONT and Nils Weimann has found a home on Lazare Hoche Records. Ballets comprises two singles from FONT and Weimann as well as a remix by Lizz. It released June 19th, 2020.
“Ballets” marries a four-on-the-floor beat with symphonic instrumentals to curious effect. Next up is “Kefta,” whose infectious groove and subtly psychedelic sonics place it in the sublime middle ground between minimal house and techno. On the flip side is Lizz’ remix of the title track. Her signature sound plays well with the elements prominent throughout the rest of the EP.
