Two years have passed since Pig&Dan delivered their fourth studio album, Modular Baptism. Two weeks ago the Spanish techno duo shared three remixes of songs from the effort via their artist album, Elevate. Now, they have offered up three more remixes comprising Modular Baptism Remixed, Pt. 2.
Whereas Modular Baptism Remixed, Pt. 1 showcased the musical stylings of Etai Terazi, M.I.T.A. and Uakoz, the follow-up sees Anna V., Rehmark & Nukkah and Gaist try their hand at reimagining the source material. The former two artists contributed melodic, euphoric renditions of the original album’s title track, and the latter served up a driving, peak-hour techno remix of “Silk.”
Anna V’s remix of “Modular Baptism” marks her second release on Elevate, with that of Rehmark & Nukkah being their first. Gaist is an alumni of the label by now. Last year, for instance, he released the three-track Mind EP by way of Elevate.
