The Brooklyn electronic music landscape is due for another tectonic shift. Popgun Presents and the management of now closed music venue and art gallery Glasslands have announced the opening of a 24,000-square-foot nightclub called Elsewhere.
The club will feature five discrete spaces, including a main room with a capacity of 675. A secondary room that holds 200 will be open seven nights a week, and on the second floor is a space called The Loft that will serve guests during the daytime and into the night. A rooftop area that holds a capacity of 500 people will also open in mid 2018.
As far as entertainment is concerned, confirmed bookings for November and December include Stacey Pullen, Octave One, Kölsch and Juan Atkins. In addition to DJs, bands and other live music will be billed for events.
