It’s not common that a bottle service club caters to the post-EDM music fan, but HAUS Nightclub appears eager to challenge the status quo. The NYC nightclub has announced a biweekly event series called P.U.R.E. that highlights the more sophisticated end of the electronic music spectrum.
Interestingly, the organizers of the series present “P.U.R.E.” as an adaptation the multigenerational raver credo “PLUR,” swapping out “peace, love, unity and respect” for “Peace. Unity. Respect. ELECTRONIC.” They also boast uncommonly genre-specific programming, promising “P.U.R.E. house music, P.U.R.E. trance, P.U.R.E. techno, P.U.R.E. fun!”
Among the headliners billed for upcoming installments of the series include FATUM, Sleepy & Boo and Damien Anthony. Select editions showcase additional novelties as a draw; for instance, the October 25th event is a pajama party headlined by Leah Culver.
The inaugural edition of P.U.R.E. at HAUS Nightclub takes place on September 13th. It coincides with New York Fashion Week and will be headlined by Fatum. Find tickets for the series debut here.
