Anja Schneider has announced that she will part ways with a brand she launched 12 years ago. The German DJ and producer will step down as label head of Mobilee Records to start a new venture called SoUS Music.
In Schneider’s absence, Ralf Kollman will assume control of Mobilee. A post to her Facebook page read:
As of today, I’m no longer involved in Mobilee Records. After founding the label 12 years ago, it’s time to explore new creative projects. Mobilee will continue business as usual run by label partner Ralf Kollmann. I wish him and the team all the best.
Schneider’s final release on Mobilee Records arrived in the form of her April single, “Changes.” Her most recent track went by the name “Twisty” and arrived by way of Hot Since 82‘s Knee Deep In Sound imprint. The post went on to explaine that the name “SoUS” bore family significance, and that the new endeavor would be “the most personal project of [her] career.”
As the time of writing, Anja Schneider has not announced SoUS Music’s inaugural release.
