A month ago Sharam announced an upcoming album titled Collecti while sharing its lead single, “Scorpi.” He revealed that the album would come out in four parts between then and October of 2017, and the first is officially here.
In addition to the lead single, the four-track bundle includes the titles “Mini,” “Spaci” and “Hemi.” While each track represents a different shade of minimal techno, all are considerably darker than Sharam’s usual brand of deep house. Of the lot, “Hemi” stands out the most for its crisp sound design and memorable arrangement.
“It’s here. Collecti Part 1 is out today,” reads a post to Sharam’s Facebook page. “As I’ve said before, these tracks have been my secret weapons over the last few years, and I’m very happy to finally share them with the world.”
If Sharam keeps the pace he’s set thus far, Collecti Part 2 should arrive sometime near the end of August. In the meantime, he continues the North American leg of his current world tour with a performance at Miami nightclub Heart on July 29th.
