Two deep house heavyweights have joined forces on a new venture. Lee Burridge has already grown his All Day I Dream imprint into a world-renowned brand, and he has recently partnered with Hoj on another label called Tale and Tone.

Tale and Tone inaugurates today, July 21st, with a six-track effort titled Storybook EP which features singles by the likes of Lost DesertDaso & Lutz and Be Svendsen. The EP is only available on vinyl record format at present, with a digital edition coming out at a later date.

Burridge and Hoj launched Tale and Tone as an exercise in broadening their musical horizons. On the topic of the imprint, the latter artist has said:

Lee and I are great friends and have been talking about starting a new project together for a long time. As DJs, we play a huge range of music in any given set, and we wanted to start a label that was less about a specific sound and more about showcasing great songs that we love to play – songs with story and groove. Tale and Tone features the music Lee and I would play in a back-to-back set. And the music we imagine playing at our dream night time ball.

Neither Lee Burridge nor Hoj have disclosed a date for the digital release of the Storybook EP. Purchase it on vinyl here, and find the tracklist for the effort below.
