Samo Records have signed an Australian DJ and producer’s EP for their second official release. The first came in the form of Pixelife‘s Chimeras in the Matrix EP, and now Australian DJ and producer Tunnel Signs A.K.A. Ash Moses makes his debut on the NYC label with the Ultraviolet EP.

The EP opens up with the title track, a house cut driven by a 303 synth melody and female vocal refrain by Moderna on the top line. “Carbonate” follows with a decidedly more industrial manifestation of the Tunnel Signs sound. Also included on the tracklist is a remix of the former track by Markus Gibb, as well as one of the latter by Willie Burns. In addition, a Facets remix of “Ultraviolet” is only available in the album’s digital format.

NYC by Way of Sydney

Moses has released music on such labels as Clouded Vision, HAKTNein Records, and Days of Being Wild prior to partnering with Samo Records for his latest release. Shortly after relocating from Sydney to NYC, he collaborated with Will Buck on a single titled “Spirits” which came out on Cutters Records in February.

Tunnel Signs’ Ultraviolet EP came out via Samo Records as a 12″ vinyl record on July 11th, and the digital release is slated for July 30th.
