Frank & Tony have released a new EP and a bittersweet announcement. The NYC deep house duo consisting of Francis Harris and Anthony Collins shared a single titled “Procession” from Odes, which came out today, June 18th – but in doing so revealed that they would part ways to pursue solo careers.
“Our latest, and final EP, ‘Odes’ is out now at all the usual hot spots,” read a post to the Frank & Tony Facebook page. “Procession” was premiered on XLR8R but the blog made no mention of the breakup, indicating that Harris and Collins either held the news close or made the decision quite recently.
Neither artist has made any remarks suggesting that the turn of events will affect their current tour schedule, but after August each DJ will continue to play out as a solo act. The duo will also continue to jointly run their artist label, Scissor & Thread, following the split.
Frank & Tony will perform at eight locations throughout the U.S., Europe and South America over the course of July and August. Find the full list of tour dates below.
